@@@ Needs work. To be renamed ''Split and Compare Surveys By Attributes'' or maybe "Divide ...". A suggestion is to try this function with Ref Nbr 0011 using General.Age as the dividing parameter. If multiple sites are selected, the data from each survey is analyzed separately. It would be more useful to combine all surveys and split the data once by the selected attribute set. | ==== Objective ==== |

This function is similar to CompareSurveysByAttributes but has an additional feature. It splits the elements within a survey by the attributes of a selected attribute set. The intended usage is to compare older/younger elements within a survey. To start, a list of all ''exclusive'' choice attribute sets are displayed. Choose any set, the usual choice is ''General.Age''. | The '''Slice and Compare Surveys by Attribute''' function is used to compare Rock Art Class attributes from multiple surveys and highlight those attributes which have elements common to multiple surveys or unique to a single survey. One usage of this function is to compare rock art sites that are thought to have been occupied by the same cultures and verify there are no unexpected differences in rock art styles. |
