Judy's Dell Inspiron 3650

Initial Setup 2017-03-03

Has an add on graphics card with VGA, HDMI and DVI output ports. This was not shown in any pics or written specs. PC is smaller and quieter than expected.

Answered usual setup questions, did not activate Macaffe. Download and update of Windows patches took 1:10:00 and counting. Rebooted without warning after 1:15:00 and 1:25:00 with updates 75% and 97% complete. There was a message on screen saying PC will reboot several times.

Suggest removal of:

• McAfee

• New Blue Video Essentials

• MS Office 365

• Dell Dropbox

Removed McAfee, updated windows defender files, ran quick scan.

Added IE11 to taskbar

Copied files from 620 drive to XX-Inspiron620.

Downloaded zip files from Carbonite to XX-Carbonite folder. Took most of day, big downloads tended to get stuck at ~2GB, had to start over. There is a Documents and Settings folder on old C:/ that is now a linked folder on Windows 10.

Started Carbonite restore process at 8:50 PM, took 20 minutes to create all folders. As of 8:50 AM, says 3 more hours.
